{"id":1267,"date":"2023-05-08T16:52:57","date_gmt":"2023-05-08T16:52:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1267"},"modified":"2023-05-08T16:52:57","modified_gmt":"2023-05-08T16:52:57","slug":"gluten-free-chocolate-cookies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1267","title":{"rendered":"Gluten-Free Chocolate Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Ingredients:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup almond butter (or nut butter of choice)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup almond flour (or pecan or cashew flours, or if you\u2019d like to avoid nuts, you can use oat flour)<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup cocoa or cacao powder<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg (or go vegan with an egg substitute like \u00bc cup apple sauce or mashed banana)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup chocolate chips (optional, but I use them!)<\/li>\n<li>Chopped nuts, dried bananas, etc. are optional add-ins!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mix all ingredients well and then fold in the chocolate chips at the end.\u00a0 Since gluten-free cookies are prone to crumbling and falling apart, you can prevent this from happening by forming smaller cookies -like golf balls or smaller. Also, don\u2019t flatten the dough balls before baking. Bake the cookies in the oven preheated to 350F degrees for 10-12 minutes.
