{"id":1575,"date":"2024-01-11T19:51:25","date_gmt":"2024-01-11T19:51:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1575"},"modified":"2024-01-11T19:51:25","modified_gmt":"2024-01-11T19:51:25","slug":"no-bake-nut-butter-bars","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1575","title":{"rendered":"No Bake Nut Butter Bars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Ingredients:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup almond flour (or oat or coconut flour, I\u2019ve made these with all of these!)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup nut butter of choice (I\u2019ve used organic almond, cashew, and peanut kinds of butter)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup sweetener of choice (low carb folks, try <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3vAYY6g\">xylitol<\/a>; others maple syrup)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup Peanut Butter Powder (I use the non-GMO <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/48AUo6E\">PB Fit<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Salt (just a pinch)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Topping:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd-1 cup chocolate chips (low-carb folks might try <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ShiTA1\">Lakanto<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/48QOU78\">ChocZero Sugar Free Chocolate Chips<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp coconut butter<\/li>\n<li>Unsalted organic chopped nuts (I\u2019ve used peanuts &amp; walnuts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prep an 8\u201dX 8\u201d pan with parchment or coconut butter and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In a small pan on low heat, mix nut butter and syrup (sweetener) until combined and smooth (about 2 minutes). Remove from heat and add flour until well combined. It will be thick. Transfer the mix to the prepared pan and press it with a spatula or spoon until it is evenly pressed.<\/p>\n<p>Wipe the sauce pan and heat your chocolate chips and butter, stirring frequently. You can do this in the microwave, as well. \u00a0Pour and spread evenly across the top of the nut butter base and add any chopped nuts or other toppings. Then, refrigerate for about 2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Allow bars to warm up for about 5 minutes once removed from the fridge before cutting.
