{"id":1691,"date":"2024-03-02T21:33:29","date_gmt":"2024-03-02T21:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1691"},"modified":"2024-03-02T21:33:29","modified_gmt":"2024-03-02T21:33:29","slug":"chocolate-protein-mug-cake","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1691","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate Protein Mug Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Ingredients:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 TBSP oat flour (or coconut flour&#8230;btw, you can make your own oat flour using a coffee grinder and old fashiopned oats!)<\/li>\n<li>2 TBSP chocolate protein powder of choice (I use several; my fave is <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3wK9hoQ\">Perfect Keto Collagen Protein<\/a> but the protein count is lower, so I also use <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3TkLnta\">Truvani Chocolate Protein Powder<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3SSAEEM\">Kion\u2019s Chocolate Whey Protein<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>5 TBSP <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/49QXmnw\">cocoa<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/49BFvBt\">cacao powder<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 TBSP sweetener of choice (unless your protein powder is sweet)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd TSP baking powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup milk of choice (<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4bZKJs5\">this brand<\/a> has several clean options)<\/li>\n<li>2 TBSP chocolate chips (I either use no sugar <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3P4DG7Y\">Choc Zero Dark Chips<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3P47L7j\">Enjoy Life\u2019s Semi-Sweet Mini Chocolate Chips<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Optional: sea salt flakes, dried berries, shredded coconut, chopped walnuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This recipe uses no eggs, so if you use a milk alternative and a non-milk protein powder, it\u2019s a dairy-free, gluten-free treat!<\/p>\n<p>Prep your mug with a swipe of coconut butter, olive oil, or ghee to prevent sticking. Mix all the ingredients above except optional toppings. Save a few chocolate chips for the top. Microwave it 60-80 seconds but start checking on it every 10 seconds after 30 since microwaves tend to differ in power.
