{"id":1709,"date":"2024-03-14T22:00:29","date_gmt":"2024-03-14T22:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1709"},"modified":"2024-03-14T22:00:49","modified_gmt":"2024-03-14T22:00:49","slug":"chicken-or-turkey-nuggets","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/HealthChicChatter.com\/?page_id=1709","title":{"rendered":"Chicken or Turkey Nuggets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Nugget Ingredients:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 lbs. ground chicken (or turkey &amp; look for no antibiotic &amp; hormone free, if you can)<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup grated or shredded parmesan (grated is best, tho!)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup shredded mozzarella<\/li>\n<li>\u00be tsp garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00be tsp onion powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00be tsp paprika<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Nugget Coating Ingredients:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd cup grated parmesan<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp potato starch (or tapioca starch or corn starch)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp paprika<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp dried parsley<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Spicy Ketchup Ingredients:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bc cup low-sugar or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3PmEvsL\">no sugar added ketchup<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp Worcestershire sauce (I am a Primal Kitchen fan and use <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3VjAARh\">this one<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3IApi3s\">sriracha sauce<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 425. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.<\/p>\n<p>In a shallow bowl, combine the coating ingredients with a whisk. Then, in a larger bowl, combine the nugget ingredients with your hands until mixed. Now, form small nugget-like shapes by making ovals and flattening them. I like to use a misto to lightly coat the nuggets with olive oil and lightly dip them with the coating mix.<\/p>\n<p>Bake the nuggets for 15 minutes, flip them and bake for another 10 minutes.
