- 1 cup halved pecans
- 1 1/2 tbsp packed brown sugar (I used Sukrin Gold brown sugar substitute)
- 1 1/2 tbsp water
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
First mix all the ingredients except the pecans in a bowl. Next, heat up the pecans 2-3 minutes stirring over medium heat until they start to smell “nutty” and then stir in your mix. Stir until nuts are well coated a minute or two and then spread them out on waxed or parchment paper to cool. Break apart and enjoy. These make great gifts, as well!
