- 1 cup almond butter (or nut butter of choice)
- 1 egg (or egg substitute, like ¼ c apple sauce)
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- ½ tsp. sea salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup chopped dark chocolate (or chips, if easier)
Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8 x 8 baking dish (or line the bottom with parchment paper). Mix all ingredients but the chocolate until smooth. Fold in chocolate chunks (or chips) & pour batter into baking dish. Bake brownies until golden which is about 25-ish minutes. Let it cool off for about 10 minutes and ENJOY!
