Y’all know I love an easy recipe with a bit of sweetness, including my favorites: chocolate & nut butter!
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups of peanut butter powder
- 1/3-1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce (I use apple sauce a lot but because it can be sporadic, I often get these individual cup sizes so the product lasts longer!)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate or sugar-free chocolate chips (melted with 1 tsp. of coconut butter)
Start by mixing about 3/4 of the peanut butter powder and all of the apple sauce well. If you prefer it creamy, then use the mix as is, otherwise add in the remaining nut butter powder to create a thicker fudgier texture. Next, roll the dough into little balls. I make them a little smaller than an inch in diameter. Now if the mix is too soft, put it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes before making your balls. Place completed balls in the freezer to harden further. Once the balls pass your touch test, melt the chocolate and coconut butter (stirring every 20-30 seconds to ensure no burning) in the microwave and then drizzle across the exposed areas of the balls. Store them in the freezer & enjoy whenever!
Easy breezy!
