If you’re like me, you love a delicious and EASY crockpot recipe. This one hits the spot. Try it!
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tsp organic Italian seasoning (or homemade)
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Sprinkle sea salt & pepper to taste2 cloves (or 2 tsp) of garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup sundried tomatoes drained and chopped (although I often use dried)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup baby spinach, chopped
Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Season on both sides of the chicken.
Prep the inside of the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil. Layer the seasoned chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
In a mixing bowl whisk together the chicken broth, heavy , minced garlic, chopped sun dried tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. Pour this mixed sauce over the chicken into the crock pot. Click on high for three hours or low for five hours.
