High Protein Chicken Crust Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 lb.+ ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese (I use a non-dairy version that tastes great)
  •  2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix ground chicken, eggs, parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Spread the mixture thinly and evenly on the baking sheet.

Bake for 25 minutes, then let it rest for 5 minutes. Now, increase oven temperature to 425°F.

Top the chicken crust with pizza sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, and green onions.

Bake for another 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden finish (watch carefully).

Consider topping with fresh basil. Enjoy!
